Cassie was the first dog that I bought on my own. She is the first that got me interested in the sport of purebred dogs. Although she wasn't shown in the breed ring, she enjoyed participating in obedience and agility. Cassie passed her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test with flying colors and is now a therapy dog and visits local nursing homes.

Cassie is the kind of dog that always seems to be there when you need her. I could be having the worst day and her being beside me is such a comfort. She's my best friend I wouldn't trade her in for anything in the whole world.

So this is to you Cassie, the one that started it all.

Sadly, Cassie passed away in October 2007. She is sorely missed every day.
